Hi Friends!

I got some really exciting news today from my mommy! She told me that any day now my new baby sister will be arriving, So we had to finish setting up the room. I am going to be sharing my bedroom for a little while so I just had to make it extra special.

We all know how scary it can be at night time when the lights go out and everyone in the house is asleep. But! I had a plan so my new baby sister would never gets scared.

Once daddy had finished putting together the furniture, It was time to decorate. Mommy put on matching bedding that I have on my bed and an extra comfy pillows. I hung up my favorite moon and stars on the wall, mommy always had a story about how she loved her kids to the moon and back and when the darkness hits the sky, never fear as the stars will always appear and light up the room. So at night if I woke up scared I would always see the moon and stars and never be scared.

Once that was done and mommy and daddy went back downstairs to get some more baby stuff to bring up, I decided to try out this new bed. You see I begged my daddy to put a little bed next to my new baby sisters crib so I could always see her and her see me. Us girls got to stick together and I wants her to know I will always be right by her side. 

I grabbed my favorite teddy and crawled onto my new bed, Ohhh..this is comfy! As I lay my head down I whispered to teddy.."We are just going to wait right her till baby sister arrives".

Whoa!!!! Is it a hot day out today! 

Thank goodness Mommy had plans to take us to the pool today. First we had to pack a bag with all our summer must haves, Mommy says don't forget the sunblock! I let out a little aweee because that stuff makes my skin all oily and stuff, But mommy says it's not about how it looks. It is about protecting our skin from the sun rays and not getting burned while outside.

As I was packing my bag, I decided to call a few of my friends to come with us. I knew they would be so happy to come along with mommy and I as it was so hot. Mommy was sure to pack extra snacks and juice boxes for all of us. She even mentioned that we will get some ice cream after we go swimming!

YAY!! I loves ice cream =) specially on days like today! 

Which reminded me! I got a new swimsuit from Nana to wear. It is perfect for today and one of my new favorites.

I am so excited, I have so many plans and fun projects I want to do this summer, I couldn't wait this is the first weekend of my summer vacation from school, and I already had my first project planned to make. Let me tell you all about it! 

Your going to love this Full Perm Ankylosaur Plushie! For my project idea I am going to makes them all different colors to match my room, I added some pastel fabric textures to mine. I made them in a few different sizes like a little dinosaur family =) 

I think they are going to love their colors and new place I am going to set up for them in my room later. But first I need to make some more!

The time is getting closer and closer, I have been watching the days and minutes till Santa comes. I was sure to leave some carrots for my furry friends, I bet they will love a little snack with all the flying they are doing around the world. 

Tonight my mommy and I pulled out grandma's secret recipe box to find the perfect recipe for Santa's cookies. It took us awhile to find it as grandma has so many cookie recipes! But once we finally found it, I got even more excited to bake them!

We had to be sure we used the exact ingredients and measured everything just perfect. We made a huge mess with the flour and sugar stuff but we had so much fun. This year we decided to do double chocolate fudge cookies....Soooo much chocolate! Santa is going to definitely need a huge glass of milk for these cookies. Once the dough and stuff was all prepared we grabbed the plastic container that had all of mommy's cookie cutters in it. Mommy let me pick the shapes for us to make this time. I picked out the Star and the Moon shapes. I thought of all the stars in the whole world Santa gets to see and the moon he jingles on by in the night sky would be perfect. Mommy thought it was a really thoughtful of an idea.

Once We finished cutting out the shapes and placing them on the pan it was time to bake them. 

As we waited through the whole house you could smell the delicious cookies baking. I kept walking over toward the oven to peak to see if they were done. My mommy said perfection takes time. I was just to excited I could feel my belly rumbling for a cookie! 

Finally!! the cookies are done. Mommy pulled them from the oven and placed them on the cooling rack. Mommy says we have to let them cool down a minute before trying them out. 

While they cool, Mommy poured the huge glass of milk for Santa, We also had to write him a little note. 

Ok.. It is time! Mommy says. We each picked a cookie to try. My eyes opened so wide, My mouth kept chomping away on the cookie.. I couldn't believe it! These cookies are soooo delicious! I really think I could of eaten the whole batch, But we had to be sure to make Santa a plate of cookies.

We brought the plate of cookies, glass of milk, and note over into the living room, We placed them right next to the Christmas tree so Santa could see! 

I asked mommy if I could sit down next to the tree and try to watch for when Santa arrived. I really wanted to see him!

I tried to stay up but I felt my eyes getting heavy, I thought maybe I could just lay down and rest my eyes while I wait.

Today was such a special day to add to my memories! My family took us on this what seemed to be forever long drive in the car to this magical place. I was so excited to see my furry reindeer friends up north, I think I asked my mommy "Are we there yet" at least 20 times! giggles..... 

It has been a family tradition since I was just a baby, The whole family packed up their cars and took the long drive up north to this magical place. A place you only get to go once a year to see all Santa's reindeer before they continue up to the north pole to Santa's house to get ready for their journey through the night sky, They have a tough job flying all over the world with Santa. My mommy says because they have such a long night flying through the sky with Santa, Santa sends them to this magical place kind of like a spa but for reindeer. They get to relax and eat lots of carrots, Visitors especially little ones are most welcome to this magical place to see them and bring holiday huggys and lots of holiday cheer to lift up their happiness and get them all excited to help Santa.

Every year when we go I love to spend time with each of them. I talk to them and brush their fur. I also get to give them carrots. My favorite part of all is giving them huggys!

It is starting to get closer and closer to our winter season, I can't to go on Christmas adventures this year!

It is always fun. I love seeing all the bright lights and decorations everyone sets up. Oh! and singing Christmas carols and sipping hot cocoa.

This year I decided to start my shopping a bit early. I have a long list of family and friends I want to get something special for this year. 

I made my way to my first stop of places to shop at, One of my favorite places called KIDOODLED. There is always great finds there from a bunch of creators. 

As I wondered around the event looking at all the creator's items for this round. I was able to grab some perfect gifts and cross a few names off my list. But! of course I had to grab a new outfit for me! I just couldn't resist this one at Little Attitudez booth. It was super cute. It is called Harper and they had it in a few colors. I got the Pink of course giggles.....
